Card College 1&2 Personal Instruction Lesson 18: The Spread Cull

Card College is considered by many to be the most important and influential work on sleight-of-hand card magic for the beginner and the expert. With these videos the author personally coaches you. It is like taking one-to-one lessons!

This is Lesson 18 of the Card College 1&2 – Personal Instruction video course in card magic.

It will teach you the Spread Cull, a hugely versatile technique with which you can control any card at any position in the deck. The sleight is also the basis for an excellent Force, taught in this lesson, but also controls, switches, transfers, additions and many other technical problems. The Spread Cull reaches its full potential when you can cull several cards to any position in the deck, mostly to the top, by innocently looking through the deck once, thus enabling you to arrange partial set-ups from a shuffled, borrowed deck. This is also taught in great detail.

Furthermore you’ll be able to enjoy the performance of two excellent tricks done before real spectators. This is followed by a detailed discussion that will convey to you all the information needed to perform these easy, yet baffling pieces containing some of the sleights taught in the technical section.

This video lesson is completely self-contained; using the Card College book as an additional learning tool can be helpful, but is absolutely not necessary. This video course has been conceived with all those in mind who prefer visual instruction to reading.

Lesson 18 contains professional-caliber material and information. If you are willing to think and to practice, you will obtain extraordinary results.
